Modular support or a complete turnkey development
Eight areas of practice. Engaged individually or delivered as one turnkey development.
Wellness succeeds when strategy, space, people and commercial reality are developed together. Amani's consultancy model supports a project from early strategy and concept development through design, procurement, training, opening and ongoing operational optimisation.
Engagements can be structured as a complete turnkey solution or through individual stages, allowing partners to select the level of support most appropriate to their project, while maintaining the consistency, quality and commercial discipline that define every Amani engagement.
Engage one service or connect the full programme, whether it is a new development or an existing spa.
Every project begins with context. We assess the market, guest demand and commercial potential before defining the spa's positioning, target audiences, service philosophy, guest journey, spa footprint and spatial requirements, treatment architecture and rituals. Concept and operation are developed together from the outset, creating an offer that is distinctive, relevant and viable.
Working alongside project teams, architects, interior architects and designers, we translate the spa and wellness concept into spaces that are purposeful, beautiful and operationally efficient, for both new builds and refurbishments. Our scope spans spatial planning and layouts, brand-aligned design concepts and specifications, through to schematic design, detailed construction drawings and tender documentation.
We guide procurement across Furniture, Fittings & Equipment (FF&E), Operating Equipment (OE), Operating Supplies & Equipment (OS&E), professional and retail spa products, guest amenities and gifting. Where appropriate, Amani is able to supply, customise or manufacture products to brief. Recommendations balance quality, durability, cost, lead times, brand alignment and responsible sourcing
We take new openings and relaunches through a structured, hands-on process, aligning the people, systems and operational detail required to bring the concept to life. Our scope includes operational planning and set-up, guest journey development, treatment menu design and costing, product selection, pricing architecture, team structure and recruitment support, marketing and operational collateral, SOP development, training and launch activation.
Training is shaped around the property, treatment offering, service standards and team requirements. Programmes range from pre-opening training and practical treatment skills to consultation and guest service, soft skills, spa management and community skills development. Delivered on-site, online or through hybrid formats, the focus is on building capable, confident teams equipped to deliver consistently from opening day and beyond.
For partners seeking continued strategic and operational input, Amani provides advisory and management support on an ongoing, ad hoc or project basis. This can include strategic planning, performance analysis, revenue optimisation, operational guidance and brand standards, providing experienced oversight and direction as the business evolves.
For spas already in operation, we assess the guest journey, treatment delivery, scheduling, retail, team structure, standards, systems and commercial results. We identify gaps and opportunities, then implement practical improvements that strengthen operational efficiency, service consistency, guest experience and financial performance.
We integrate wellness across the wider guest journey, shaped by place and local culture and aligned with the property’s brand and objectives. Strategies can extend across arrival, in-room experiences, food and beverage, fitness, meetings and events, leisure and departure touchpoints. The result is a cohesive wellness narrative that strengthens brand identity, enriches the guest stay and creates opportunities for deeper engagement and loyalty, for new or existing properties, with or without a dedicated spa.
It considers location, market context, target audiences, competitive analysis, the proposed spa footprint and spatial requirements, service mix, demand, operating assumptions and realistic financial scenarios. The scope is adapted to the stage of the project, agreed assumptions and the reliability of information available.
Yes. Earlier involvement usually protects more value, but Amani can join at design review, procurement, pre-opening or operational stage. We first assess what has already been decided, identify key gaps and recommend a practical scope for moving forward.
Yes. Each service can be commissioned independently. The proposal defines the scope, deliverables, responsibilities, programme and fees for that stage, while identifying where it connects with other areas of the project.
Yes. We can review the existing concept, layout, treatment menu, team, standards, scheduling, guest journey, retail and commercial performance, then develop a prioritised repositioning plan with implementation support where required.
Yes. Ongoing support may be advisory, project-based or continuous. It can include performance reviews, standards, operational and revenue optimisation, training, retail and business management. Full day-to-day operation is available through the Amani Spa Management model.
